Before the Thayer street tri fold we had to do a practice assigned by the teacher. I did mine on lawn care. I got all of my images from Google images and put them on the trifold to keep the attention of the reader to pictures that go along with the text. I learned a lot on spacing and organizing when using publisher to make this tri fold. If I were to do it again I would make it look nicer by spacing out the pictures and text a little more and I would also add more detail and color to the trifold.
In this project we assigned to make a trifold about Thayer street witch we took a field trip to.
We had to work with a blank page in land scape.
We had our topic ideas and some information about the shops on the street, but the rest was for us to make.
I got my pictures from Google Images and Bing.
My project was to focus on beauty options in Thayer Street.
I gave options to go to with their ours and location.
On the inside of the tri fold I tried to give an appealing background with a building from Thayer street. On the front side I used a light purple for the background to kind of give a beauty feel. I also put a map on the back so that the audience could look at it when they were trying to find something or stay on track. I kepi the brochure simple as I did not want it confusing or to have to much coming at you as you look at it.
This brochure was mostly meant to just give the audience some options but really to get them interested in going through to each place on Thayer street.
I learned how to make an appealing brochure and how to contrast a background picture with the front information. If I were to do this again I would maybe add more pictures and maybe change the front background as it looks a little weird with the background for the inside.
